Parallel Implementation of Entropic Lattice Boltzmann Method

Recently, an entropic formulation of the lattice Boltzmann method, which is unconditionally stable, was developed for hydrodynamic simulations. Along with a brief introduction to the method, a discussion on parallel performance and parallel implementation of Lattice Boltzmann methods in general would be presented. Validation of the method will be presented for a few simpl cases in two and three dimensions. Further, for flow over a square cylinder simulation results will be compared with the experimental results. An attempt has been made to incorporate complex geometries.
