Cross-slot channel progress report

The aim of this talk is to give a general update on the cross-slot channel project. It is mainly focused on preliminary experimental results obtained for a LDPE melt. Several issues are addressed such as the performances of the pointwise flow induced birefringence system as well as the 2D character of the velocity profile.
