10:15 at HCI J 574This talk will give a very coarse, very non-rigorous introduction to the basic concepts of model-based optimal experimental design. The talk was originally prepared for a non-modeling audience. On the one hand, the talk therefore assumes basically none a priori knowledge on anything. On the other hand, it just sketches the main ideas in very, very simple terms. It does go neither far nor deep but is intended as a sight-seeing style overview on the topic. So all rigor-loving modeling experts might easily get bored or offended - depending on character. I thought the talk might still be interesting and useful for some people, in particular experimentalists. - All still interested are highly welcome. Pimp my experiment - A quick guide to model-based optimal experimental design
